What areas do you cover?
We primarily cover the Greater London area. However, we may consider projects outside this region—please get in touch with details.
I want to buy a house. Can I get your opinion on the property before purchasing it?
Yes, we can visit the property, conduct a thorough review, and provide our opinion. We can investigate planning options, provide planning sketches, check loft space, and ensure there is enough headroom for a loft conversion.
Are you a structural or architectural consultancy?
We started as a structural engineering consultancy but have expanded over the years to offer architectural services. This shift came from our extensive experience and the growing number of clients approaching us with “unbuildable” projects. We have successfully helped clients resolve these challenges and continue to provide architectural services, ensuring our designs are both buildable and achievable. Do you handle planning applications?
Yes, we provide planning strategies and drawings. While 90% of applications are handled in-house, we also work with planning consultants for complex applications to ensure we maximise your property’s potential.
Are you RIBA-registered architects?
No, we are not RIBA-registered architects; we are architectural designers specializing in residential projects. As we do not plan to expand beyond this, RIBA registration is not a requirement for our work.
Do you charge for an initial consultation?
Yes, we do charge a fee for the initial consultation. However, this amount will be deducted from our overall fee if you decide to appoint us. We invest time and effort into researching your property before our meeting. This covers our travel costs to the property too.
I have planning permission approved, but my builder is asking for more drawings to provide a quote. Can you help?
Yes, we can provide structural drawings, a tender pack (which includes architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings), and any additional information needed. The more details you provide to the builder, the more accurate their quote will be.
I need to sort out a Thames Water Build Over Agreement. Can you help?
Certainly! We can provide the required drawings and liaise with Thames Water on your behalf.
